MA500 Wrap Up and Photos

Another MA500 in the books, and it was an awesome week.  We started out good with 5 White Marlin Releases fishing in the Tom’s Canyon on Monday.  Tuesday brought a 55 yellowfin and several mahi, fishing in the Lindy.  Thursday we moved down to the Washington, only to miss a small Blue Marlin.   Very nice water in the Tom’s on Monday.  Plenty of bait, look at the one image of the fish finder, the image covers the screen !!

Thanks to our guests for the week,  Earl Peacock and his Captain from the Keys, Kenny Spalding,  awesome fisherman !!

WMO wrap up

White Marlin Open 2009 Contango ended up catching 5 white marlin during the WMO. My thanks to Randy Ramsey of Jarrett Bay, Joey Johnson – Capt, and Jimmy Grant – Mate. What a great week !! and good fisherman. All clients had a nice time. We are heading to Cape May, fishing the MA500.

WMO Report (Day 1 & 2)

White Marlin Open 2009 Fished Monday and Tuesday, released 2 white marlin on Tuesday. Lay day for Weds. 93.5 will be hard to beat, may be time to go Blue Marlin fishing !!

WMO

Boat will be fishing the WMO out of Sunset Marina this year with the Jarrett Bay crew taking control.  Capt. Joey Johnson will be running the Contango all week with a few key customers fishing the boat. 

 Fished the Stone Harbor Yacht Club Marlin Tourney, caught 1 out of 2 white marlin on Saturday.

We will be fishing the WMO out of Sunset Marina in August.  Fishing starting to pick up with several Blue Marlin seen by several boats in the MD Canyons. Hopefully the Yellowfin (Larger) fish will move in !!
